Educational Assistant (m/f/d)
Salary Range: negotiable
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and support in a class of the Otto Steiner School (focus on intellectual development) with children aged 6-13 years.
- Accompany children to offer them a clear structure and enable learning aligned with their needs.
- Assume nursing and housekeeping duties within the class.
- Maintain close communication with the class team.
- Under certain circumstances, increase working hours up to 38 hours/week by working in the curative education group service in the afternoon.
Qualifications:
- Training as an educator (m/f/d), special education nurse (m/f/d), childcare worker (m/f/d), social worker (m/f/d), special education care assistant (m/f/d), or no training but experience in dealing with children and adolescents (ideally with mental disabilities).
- Willingness to form a reliable relationship with children.
- Appreciative and person-centered attitude.
- Independent, binding, and reliable work style.
- Ability to work in a team, commitment, patience, resilience, and flexibility.
